When we first looked at our new farmhouse, I had to put my thinking cap on and set my magic glasses in place. I needed to think outside the box and remember to think big picture. The famous last words Mr. Maple always says . . . Rome wasn't built in a day!
I also needed to remember that our goal was to be close to our kids and that was the most important factor in our move. The property was what we fell in love with . . . it was absolutely dreamy, and the house would eventually get to the place we could call home.
The farmhouse kitchen had good bones and I knew it would come along one step at a time. We have hung shelves, revamped the pantry, and taken doors off the cabinets, but there was still one thing I really wanted to do. I wanted to replace the faucet with one that would make a splash!
